Permissions

This tab of the account details is only displayed to administrators and managers for an existing account. All users who are assigned to the bank of the account are listed here by name. You can make the bank assignment in the bank details under Users or in the user administration under Bank selection.

Each user receives his permission with a radio button. Accounts from the user profile (HTD) normally do not need editing because the option Settings from user profile is set automatically and the permission is transmitted by the bank. The current subscriber status is displayed in brackets after the option. The user can only submit orders to the bank with permission from the bank. If Not yet known is displayed as the subscriber status, the user should check whether he has initialized his bank connection and if it was enabled by the bank. If necessary, contact the bank to clarify whether the user has been correctly configured in the EBICS bank server.

Internal account permissions

The options Authorized and Unauthorized are internal account permission. An internally permitted user can use the account to enter payments, regardless of his bank side permission. However, submitting orders to the bank is only possible with a subscriber permission in the EBICS bank server. If the permission is withdrawn internally, the account is not available in payment recording, account settings and account statements, even if there is permission from the user profile.

Internal account permissions are mandatory for:

In these cases, there is no user profile and the option Unauthorized is preset. Assign Authorized for users who should be allowed to select the account in the payment recording and view the account settings.

Permission in the account overview

For the display on page Account overview, account permissions are only observed by default if the checkbox Display only accounts for which payment permissions exist is switched on in the system settings.

User administration

Account permissions can also be edited in the user administration under Account selection. There you can also assign permissions for deactivated accounts, i.e. accounts from imported account statements or manually created accounts that were deleted while data was still available for them.
