Bank selection

Here you can set which banks should be visible to the selected user. All banks that are set up in BL Banking Web or in the user's tenants are automatically assigned to a newly added user. When editing a user, the overview shows the subscriber ID of the user and the initialization status for each bank, as well as for an imported user. A duplicated user adopts the bank selection of the template user except for the subscriber ID and status.

Assign or remove the desired banks individually by enabling or disabling the checkboxes or all at once by clicking on one of the All or None buttons. After the user has initialized and his access has been activated by the bank, the subscriber status for an assigned bank changes from Not initialized to Ready. Such bank connections are referred to as Active bank connections.

If you remove the assignment of a bank for which the user had active connection, a yellow info bar warns that the EBICS keys will be deleted. Only apply this change if you intend to do so. To be able to reconnect to the bank, the subscriber must first be reset at the bank and the user must then reinitialize.

Note: Administrators and managers can also edit the assignment of users in the bank settings. There is the additional option to deactivate a bank connection without deleting the EBICS keys of an active bank connection. Choose this option if you only want to temporarily prevent connection to a bank.

You can optionally enter the subscriber ID in the field below the bank so that the user can already find their subscriber ID during initialization. If the bank has assigned new subscriber IDs, you can change existing subscriber IDs. Users with the permission Edit bank settings can change their own subscriber IDs on page Banks – Bank details themselves.

Users with the setting Users without bank connection (no license) cannot receive a subscriber ID. They can still be assigned to banks if they are to record payments or view account statements.
