Here you can make settings separately for account statements and advices. You can use the Activated checkboxes to turn on or off the retrieval of account statements and advices. For example, if your bank does not offer advices, you can deactivate the retrieval and thus avoid error messages when advices would be fetched.
For account statements and advices respectively, you can use the drop-down list Format to choose between the SWIFT formats MT940 or MT942 and the XML formats camt.053 or camt.052 according to ISO 20022. Addionally, the fetch order type for the respective format is displayed below. The setting depends on the format supported by your bank.
Here you can see, when account statements and advices were last retrieved. Normally, you do not need to enter anything here. However, should account statements be missing, you can set a date in the past here. If you then retrieve the account statements immediately under Fetch schedules, they will be requested from the bank from the date that you entered. The same applies to advices accordingly.
Basically, banks provide account statements and advices per customer. If a subscriber of a customer has retrieved the account statements from the provision (New), they are deleted there and can no longer be retrieved by another subscriber of the same customer. This would be important if your company used programs other than BL Banking Web. It is therefore always advisable to keep the default value From-To. Then, account statements and advices are requested from the bank from the date of the last fetch (see field above).
There are two different methods, how banks provide advice files to their customers. At some banks the current advice always contains all bookings, whereas for other banks there are only the latest bookings in the current advice. Please configure the checkbox according to the advices the bank provides you. This way, you can prevent that adviced bookings appear twice or are overwritten.
Some banks announce bookings again that have already been advised, i.e. they repeat them on the following days until they are posted in the account statement. This causes the value date balances to be calculated incorrectly. Please check the box if you learn that your bank proceeds like this.
